Umm Kulthum"planet of the East,"  stood proudly as the gracing the magnificent platform built specifically for her in the stadium of Al-Ahli Club (now Al-Wahda Club) in Abu Dhabi. The grand hall was filled with her presence, just as her chest was adorned with the pearl necklace gifted to her by the founding father, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul.
